This blog is called “rêveries,” meaning “daydreams” in French, because a) blogging, for me, means taking a break from reality to relax, reflect, and attempt to avoid all other real obligations, and b) my pretentiousness and high-school level French proficiency require that I title my blog something foreign to show that I am cultured and full of myself.
Views of Wellesley College
Voila—the photos I took on my visit last week. I apologize for the random people in some of the photos, it was a little difficult to get quality, people-free shots on the tour.
My thoughts on the campus overall—it’s absolutely gorgeous. Even the classic, ivy-covered, older buildings are often architecturally surprising/contemporary on the interior. Also, it’s actually much larger than I thought it would be—lots of breathing room, so to speak. I get the feeling that if you were to pick a different place to study every night, you wouldn’t run out of options for months. Also, clearly I’m in love with the Lulu.
